This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Town of Cochrane (“the Town”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Police Services Model Review, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). 

The Town is inviting qualified proponents to submit proposals for the delivery of a Police Services Model Review. The purpose of this review is to assess the effectiveness, efficiency, and suitability of current policing service models in Cochrane. A key focus of the project will be a comparative evaluation of the roles, responsibilities, and impacts of Community Peace Officers (CPOs) versus Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) officers within the community.

The outcome of this review will help inform future policing strategies and resource allocations, ensuring the Town continues to meet public safety needs in a fiscally responsible and community-responsive manner.

The Town of Cochrane invites proponents to submit proposals to update and implement a 10-year Economic Development Strategic Plan that positions Cochrane for sustainable economic growth, investment attraction, and regional collaboration. This project is partially funded through the Northern and Regional Economic Development (NRED) Program and aims to ensure the Town’s economic strategy aligns with the community’s long-term vision, Envision Cochrane 2050.

The Town of Cochrane Parks and Open Spaces Department and Roads Department are 
requesting submissions from professional and dependable companies to provide contracted 
garbage collection services for approximately 249 (two hundred forty nine) waste bins located 
within Cochrane's public green spaces, joint use sites, and pathways, and 39 (thirty nine) waste 
bins located along Town roadways. This seasonal contract, running from May 1 to October 31, 
aims to maintain the cleanliness and environmental integrity of these beloved community spaces. 
The selected company will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient waste removal, 
contributing to a positive experience for residents and visitors alike.

The Town of Cochrane is seeking a qualified supplier of Porta Potties to service the needs across town. The current needs encompass supply, delivery, cleaning, stocking and emptying tanks as required, year-round for all 27 units currently located within the Town as well as additional special events requirements.
